Dear EAFWR Community,
As we step into April, we recognize several important Days of Significance that bring awareness, celebration, and reflection. This month, we highlight World Autism Awareness Day, Bengali New Year/Tamil New Year/Vaisakhi, Easter, and Earth Day.
April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day
A day to increase understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. This is an opportunity to challenge misconceptions and promote neurodiversity in our communities. The 2025 observance, under the theme “Advancing Neurodiversity and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)“, highlights how inclusive policies and practices can drive positive change for autistic individuals worldwide and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
