Celebrate Earth Day with Region of Waterloo Museum's popular PD Day camps at Schneider Haus on April 24! Reduce, reuse and recycle! Campers will engage in a variety of ecological activities like pollinator seed pod making, recycled paper making, and biodegradable salt dough. Camp programming provides a mix of free and structured play, allowing children to explore, create, build, dig, discover, and make new friends. Campers must bring a lunch and snacks. Join City of Waterloo for a community cleanup at Waterloo Park in celebration of Earth Day. Enjoy the fresh air and connect with friends, family and neighbours while helping to keep the park clean and welcoming for everyone. You'll also have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on activity to plant a sunflower seed to take home and grow, and chat with City staff and volunteers about other ways to get involved.
