Supportive Roommate Opportunity
We are seeking 1-2 female roommates to live in a house and offer support to a person with a developmental disability that we support.
The roommate(s) will receive free accommodation. In return, your support will help this person to live semi-independently, enjoying the benefits of a shared living arrangement

You would receive:
- Free monthly accommodation (based on a signed agreement)
- A financial per diem from Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region (EAFWR) for your support
- Ongoing support from a FamilyHome Coordinator and EAFWR to help promote a successful living relationship together
The reciprocal benefits are stable housing, a new relationship and living your regular life while supporting the housing and wellbeing of someone in need of support.
