Ontario Class Action Lawsuit for DSO Waitlist

There is a Class Action lawsuit underway for people who were on the DSO registry (waitlist) between July 1, 2011 and December 14, 2018.

There is very little information available so far about this Class Action. If you have questions, you can contact the law firm that is representing the Class. Their information can be found in the documents attached.

If we become aware of more details, we will post those for your consideration as well.

The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) is aware of the Class Action and has agreed that MCCSS funded transfer payment agencies (including Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region) are to post the notice “somewhere that is accessible to your clients.”
