June 2025 Days of Significance
Dear EAFWR Community,
For the month of June, we invite you to join us to recognize several important Days of Significance that bring reflection, celebration and connection. This month, we highlight Pride Month, Eid ul-Adha, National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Pride Month
Pride Month is held in June. We proudly stand with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community — this month and every month. We believe in a community where everyone belongs, is valued for their contributions, and feels safe, seen, and celebrated for who they are. Pride is about love, identity, and the right to belong.
Throughout the month of June, we’ll be sharing #PrideMonth events happening in Waterloo Region – opportunities to celebrate, acknowledge and learn together.
