Saturday August 1, 11am to 3pm browse the exhibits of original painting, printmaking and jewelry, sample market food, and take in the buskers at the Art Market (in front of the Kitchener Market). This family friendly event has something for everyone. Underground parking is free during market hours or park on King Street up to 2 hours for free.

Rockin’ it at Rockway is back for a third year of live music, food and (licensed) drinks on the Rockway Centre patio. Come join us Wednesday nights from 6-8p.m. Music happens rain or shine! The TD Kitchener Blues Festival returns to downtown Kitchener to celebrate its 15th Anniversary on August 6-9.This mostly free admission festival includes multiple stages throughout the downtown core. These walking tours are part of Building Waterloo Region, a multi-location festival of exhibitions and related events exploring and celebrating the past, present and future of progressive architecture and design in Waterloo Region. The guided walking tours of the Kitchener core area reveal the original modifications of the natural topography of the site and trace the layers of urban life and building up to the present day. August 23, get ready for Extend-A-Family’s Summer Cruise – a fundraising Road Rally featuring vintage and tuner cars in support of Extend-A-Family. Drivers tour through Waterloo Region before joining more than 400 cars and 800 spectators at Sunrise Shopping Centre. Fo’Cheesy, Schmuck Truck and FroZen Trolley will be on site to keep tummies full!
