You’re invited! We are hosting a Living Library, where you (the Reader) can engage with our Human Books. They will be sharing their stories with us, and we in turn can come with curiosity to learn more.

Time: 5:00 – 7:00pm
Location: Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region (91 Moore Avenue, Kitchener)
Who are these Human Books? Well, this Living Library of Human Books are people who have or have had a disability, and face barriers to building relationships with others. Each of their stories will explore their journey to health and happiness through connections to others.
These stories can sometimes go unheard, unacknowledged or unappreciated. Coming together for our Turning the Page evening brings these silenced stories to Readers, like you, who are eager to listen and learn.
Bring along your curiosity, as our generous volunteer Human Books will be open to questions and conversations.
Our Human Books will be available on a rotation throughout the evening, and a schedule will be published closer to the day. The readings will be with small groups of Readers.
Light dinner and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
