Autism Workshops are engaging learning opportunities that explore a variety of topics about how to support a person with Autism. These workshops are offered by Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region in partnership with Central West Respite Training Committee and KidsAbility.
Social relationships are desired by all people, yet this is one of the central challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This workshop will teach strategies on how to help children with ASD develop social skills and encourage positive relationships. We will explore ways in which social rules can be taught and generalized across multiple environments.
