Autism Workshops are engaging learning opportunities that explore a variety of topics about how to support a person with Autism. These workshops are offered by Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region in partnership with Central West Respite Training Committee and KidsAbility.
Dealing with change and transitioning between activities, people and places are common challenges associated with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. This workshop is designed to help give respite workers, caregivers and support staff strategies to help individuals with ASD transition smoothly throughout the various people, places and activities of the day.
