Mental Health First Aid Training
EAFWR is pleased to offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), an Opening Minds Program. This workshop provides you with the skills needed to support individuals who are navigating mental health crises or challenges. This workshop will help you to identify common signs of distress, and you will learn how you can provide immediate support and resources until professional assistance becomes available.
Please note that MHFA is offered quarterly. Our next training will be in Fall 2025. Please watch this page and our social media channels for more information!
Spots are limited and registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will close one week in advance of the in-person training date, so registrants can complete the required online module before the in-person training.
How It Works
This training includes an online module to be completed before the in-person training. Registration will close one week in advance of the in-person training, so registrants have time to complete the online module.
- After you register, you will receive an email with a unique access code and information about the online module. Note: This module must be completed before the in-person training.
- After you have completed the training module, you will receive a certificate of completion. You will need to email this certificate to one of the facilitators to confirm that you have completed the online training
- Then, you’ll be all set to attend the in-person training!
