Join Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery for a ceramic painting experience in celebration of Asian Heritage Month. In this workshop, you’ll design and decorate your own ceramic fortune cookies using underglaze on bisqueware. Whether you create a playful pattern, a meaningful symbol, or something totally unique, your designs will be glazed and fired to preserve their vibrant colours. You will receive two (2) ceramic fortune cookies to decorate. Additional cookies will be available for purchase for an additional cost. The artist will also be talking about the history of fortune cookies, exploring their surprising backstory. Design samples and inspiration will also be available. No prior experience required.
