QAM Training

Quality Assurance Measurements (QAM Training)

All developmental service organizations in Ontario, now operate under the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008.

Under this new act, a number of Quality Assurances Measures (QAM) training or education requirements have now become mandatory for boards of directors, staff, workers and volunteers of agencies that provide services and supports to adults with a developmental disability.

If you will be working/volunteering directly with an adult with a disability, you are required to complete the mandatory requirements outlined by the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with a Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008.

One of those requirements is to watch the QAM Training Video.

Visit this site to watch the QAM Training Video: http://qamtraining.net/files_english.html

  1. Click on "Videos" - Do not "Download Video", instead, click on the screen for each segment.
  2. Watch segments: 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 (will take about 70 minutes)
