Respite

The Respite Program provides a break for families caring for a son or daughter who has a developmental and/or physical disability.

Respite providers are screened and offered general training.

Training specific to the child is provided by the caregiver.

Respite may be provided in the family's home or in the provider's home.

The respite program is flexible.

80% of the cost is covered, with families asked to pay the remaining 20%.
