Queen Street Commons Café presents Open Space
Every Monday from 6:30 - 8:30 the Queen Street Commons cafe (43 Queen St. S. Kitchener) hosts Open Space, an informal gathering which promotes inclusion within the community. We welcome people with a disability, their family members, their support people, and members of the broader community. Each week people get together to chat and eat treats available from the cafe. There is always at least one facilitator present who makes sure that conversation flows and everyone is included.
Monthly:
Games Night: This is a chance for teens, young adults and their workers or support person to get together to play board games and socialize. It is held at The Extend-A-Family office(91 Moore Ave, Kitchener)The second Thursday of every month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. All individuals attending should be accompanied by a support person.
