Autism Ontario is happy to announce that the 2011 One to One Summer Support Worker Reimbursement Fund is now open for application.
This year, the program will NOT be on first come first serve basis. Instead we will accept all applications received between April 25, and May 31, 2011 and have a random draw to determine eligibility. Registration flyers and forms are attached. You do not need to be an Autism Ontario member to receive funds.

The 2011 One-to-One Summer Support Worker Reimbursement Fund is available to Ontario families of children or youth with ASD who retain the services of a one-to-one support worker for their child to attend a community summer camp or summer program. Maximum reimbursements of $600, per child or youth, (18 years or younger) will be made to subsidize services purchased between June 27 and September 2, 2011. A minimum of 500 families from across Ontario are expected to receive reimbursements.  Reimbursements will be provided based on a random selection made from all eligible applicants who apply between April 25 and May 31, 2011. The deadline for all applications is May 31, 2011, no exceptions. Reimbursement will be made based on random selection.
