Open Space is a weekly gathering that promotes inclusion within the community by getting people together at a cafe for food, fun and conversation. All are welcome regardless of ability, and you do not need to be supported by Extend-A-Family to attend.
Working Adults Learning Empowering Skills (WALES) is a group of adults with developmental disabilities whose goal is to explore their own personal possibilities in the community.
Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region (EAFWR) Summer Program is for individuals with a disability ages 13 years and older. The program operates out of Kitchener for the first five sessions. Daily activities accommodate all participants for a positive fun experience. Weekly themes guide interactive activities, special guests, and day trips.
